Apple has announced that the next release of the Mac Operating System, Catalina, will be released in early October, 2019.

For soundBlade and soundBlade Option users: DO NOT UPGRADE TO CATALINA. soundBlade HD/SE/LE and AAHD/AALE, Manual DeClick, Broadband DeNoise and reNOVAtor/Spectral Repair Tool will not run on the new OS. If you must upgrade to Catalina, we recommend partitioning your hard drive to maintain an MacOS Mojave or older OS environment.

For Sonic Studio Plug-in Users (NoNoise 3, Mastering EQ, Legendary Audio I.C.E., Wholegrain Digital Quartet/Trio DynPEQ): In our testing, we’ve found that the plug-ins work, however the installers fail on new installations. This will only effect brand new installations. We are currently in process of reviewing the installers for compatibility with MacOS Catalina and will have more information available shortly.
